Kangaroo Island (KI)

Kangaroo Island (or "KI" to the locals) is situated only 120 kms south west of Adelaide, just 16 kilometres off the tip of the Fleurieu Peninsula. With 480 kilometres of coastline, the Island is the third largest off the Australian mainland.

The island's isolation and limited development has ensured an abundance of wildlife, rarely found elsewhere. More than half the land remains in its natural state, and almost a third conserved as National and Conservation Parks where the native fauna such as koalas and kangaroos and famed sea lions live freely. Kangaroo Island provides a truly unique Australian wilderness experience.
